WEEK 25

This week was a light week and we didn't add anything extra into our My Father's World study due to two kiddos with the flu!

BIBLE/HISTORY
The memory verse for this week was "Fear of man will prove to be a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord is kept safe.." Proverbs 29:25 Ryder practiced handwriting by writing out the Bible verse and he went over the verse daily. We also learned about the books of the Bible 2 Thessalonians through Titus. We studied David and Goliath, King David, King Solomon, and Israel splitting into two countries. He colored King David, King Soloman, and the split of Israel and put it on the timeline.

 READING/LANGUAGE ARTS
Ryder had several handwriting and phonics worksheets. He continued with reading a story from his Bible Reader about David and Goliath and Soloman. And he illustrated the stories in his Bible notebook.

 MATH
Ryder finished Lessons 94 through 96 in Horizons Math 1.
 ART
Ryder continued with "Enjoying Art Together" this week. We studied the artwork "Towboats along the Yotsugi-Dori Canal" by Ando Hiroshige. Ryder did a great job examining the picture and answering questions about the painting.
