BIBLE
This week Ryder wrote out Matthew 4:4 as part of his dictation assignment this week. We continued our Matthew study this week and read Chapter 3.
LANGUAGE ARTS
Ryder did Spelling Lesson 5 and got a 100 on his spelling test.
They both did handwriting.
Ryder did Lessons 17-20 in English. He studied about quotations, apostrophes, and contractions.
Mercer did Lesson 11 in All About Reading Level 1.
Ryder had reading time every day. He finished The Magic Tree House Book #5: "Night of the Ninjas" and The Magic Tree House Book #6: "Afternoon on the Amazon."
We also finished our read aloud book "Bash and the Chocolate Milk Cows."
GEOGRAPHY
This week we continued our study of the USA. It was a light work week with geography so we just read some different read aloud books that went along with the USA, learning more facts and more about kids that live in the USA.
MATH
The boys did lessons 18-22. Ryder got a 76/79 on Test #2.

SCIENCE
We did Lesson 1 in Apologia Swimming Creatures which was about Aquatic Animals. We also read information about things that live in the canopy and floor layers of the forest. The boys drew illustrations for the different layers. (Ryder's on the left, Mercer's on the right.)
Co-Op
This week they went on a nature hike, made flip books for art, learning more about the United States, and listened to some WeeSing songs!

We took a week off of school at home to move, but the kids still went to their co-op class. Here's a picture of Ryder doing his speech on a city he has visited in Tennessee.
